WIB endorses MoneyPass to provide surcharge-free ATM network access to members

SAN FRANCISCO and ST. PAUL, Minn (March 8, 2007) - Western Independent Bankers Service Corporation (WIB Service Corporation) and the MoneyPass® network announced today that WIB Service Corporation is endorsing MoneyPass as its "Value & Income Program" (VIP) Partner to provide surcharge-free ATM access to more than 600 community banks within WIB's 10 western states and U.S. territories. Through this endorsement, WIB member banks will be able to offer surcharge-free transactions nationwide to their customers at any MoneyPass ATMs.

MoneyPass, a national surcharge-free ATM network with nearly 10,000 ATMs is also one of the most cost-efficient network options, offering flexible and open participation. MoneyPass utilizes a unique approach to pricing, requiring MoneyPass participants to pay only as their cardholders use the network. This "pay as you use it" pricing eliminates the need for restrictive, expensive contracts and enables participants to realize the value of MoneyPass participation more immediately.

The endorsement of MoneyPass enables participating WIB banks' customers to have easy access to MoneyPass surcharge-free ATMs, including the ATMs of WIB community and correspondent bank members, such as Tamalpais Bank and Zions Bank. Participation in MoneyPass allows community banks to avoid the considerable cost of new ATM installations, ATM upgrades and mandatory compliance, while enjoying pricing efficiency and potential transaction volume growth.
